Very bad experience argos perry barr staff as a manager don't want another community will visit thier, refused to help me even I showed all insurance documents still I'm waiting for refund nothing back yet I wish store will shut down soon if you thought I'm Been funny plz check reviews given by perry barr one stop argos as customer 10 days I can return item but fron of argos manger attitude nobody can do anything, just day ago I call store by direct argos number you guys might not believe very bad tones calling me you the lady who having trouble with iron even they know the name but disrespect is argos right so I really don't mind I wish any senior management come on front page look argos perry barr ratings and reviews will realise what's going on here so bad customer service poor rating, I decided my self never ever going again argos,, Curry's have better service

I returned a tv (nothing wrong with it just wasnt good for the price) the picture quality was blurry for £430 so was going to swap it for another brand. We passed it to a lady at the Argos store at the back to bring round to the front of the store due to car park issues.
Shes a little 4ft lady & late 50s. Shed of needed help moving a 60inch TV but she said dont worry Ill push it through to the front of the store. She had dropped it & smashed the screen. I asked them for CCTV to prove it & they said it didnt cover that part of the store.
They threatened me with police when I did nothing wrong & tried to deal with the situation & get it resolved. The manager was so rude & tried to hide what had happened & was shouting at us & being aggressive. Due to this I started to record him & he made a threat towards me with police for recording him after he was shouting getting aggressively. £430 down the drain due to an error their end that as a customer Im having to pay for when its not my fault.
Disgusting & no remorse for what they did or any guilt. Shocking!

I purchased a Gourmet Double Ring electric cooker from Argos in Lordshill, Southampton, on 12th July 2021, for £29.99. On the same day, I also paid £8.99 for a a 3years replacement care for this appliance.
On returning the Gourmet Double Ring to Argos in Lordshill for replacement due to malfunctioning, the customer service representative initially stated, upon inspection, that the equipment could not be replaced, claiming it was neglected.
When I inquired what "neglected" meant, she was unable to provide an explanation. After a brief examination of about two minutes, the representative went into an inner room, presumably to consult with a colleague. Upon her return, she informed me that they were willing to replace the equipment and asked for my address for delivery. I provided it, and she mentioned that the replacement might take 1 to 2 working days to arrive.
I expressed that this timeline was acceptable, provided it did not exceed one week. She assured me the delivery would not take that long.
Following this, she printed a document resembling a receipt and directed me to sign it to authorize the delivery of the new equipment. I signed the document in good faith, without reading it. After filing the document, she typed on her computer for about five minutes.
She then produced what appeared to be a voucher, attempting to hand it to me. When I questioned the purpose of the voucher, she disclosed that the equipment was no longer available and that she was refunding the original payment onto the voucher. It was then I realized I had been misled into signing a document that effectively accepted the voucher in lieu of a direct replacement or cash refund.
I asked to see the document I had signed, but she refused, stating I had already agreed to the voucher. Initially, she also refused to disclose her full name.
When pressed, she involved her colleague to summon store security to escort me out. I explained the situation to the security personnel at the customer service desk, who then took the voucher from the representative and attempted to give it to me. I insisted that the voucher be returned to the representative as I sought an alternative resolution, either a different replacement product or a cash refund. The security personnel then returned the voucher and escorted me out of the store at approximately 12:29 pm.
The terms of the replacement cover indicated that aside from product replacement, a cash refund was also a viable option.
I intended to revoke the document I had been misled into signing at the customer service desk to pursue a cash refund, enabling me to purchase a replacement from a different retailer. The retailer's actions, by misleading me into signing a document under false pretences and thereby denying me a cash refund, have breached my consumer protection rights.
They failed to provide an opportunity to explore alternative products from different retailers, which could potentially offer better functionality than the malfunctioning product.
The customer service representative identified herself as Sarah Fred, a name whose authenticity I could not verify as she refused to show her badge and only disclosed her name after I threatened to involve the police.
All I seek is a straightforward resolution: a replacement or a cash refund. If the electric cooker cannot be replaced, I should be refunded the original amount in cash so I may consider options from other retailers.

Tried unsuccessfully to call Argos as washer made terrible banging noise on spin. Didnt get through tried unsuccessfully on internet told to do it through a wattsapp number which I got no reply from ,eventually got through to Indesit who after taking my problem ordered a repair but said unless I joined their care plan I would get a bill for £70 for calling them out bearing in mind the washer was under guarantee still and Id only had it a fortnight Im now waiting for man to come on Wednesday for report so I can claim my installation fee back if thats what the problem but till then I dont know whats going to happen I have been a week without the use of my washer as I darent use it in case I damage it they say delivery men who arent actually qualified to do work are just delivery men and may have not taken spacers out but not sure .

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I said it was solved as I don't think I can do anything more . So it's not been solved .I wasn't able to get a refund or anything else :(

We had a flight 01.01 and the bag on one side where the handle was completely ripped the whole panel. With all our content lost, and now I'm trying to see if I can retrieve anything, but it's not looking very hopeful.
I can't return the item as I'm in Portugal and will be here until summer, so will miss the 30 day return item.
As my partner brought in the shop and only has an email receipt there is no order number.
With the proof of the receipt and photos of the broken item. What else can I do ?
I need to find a way to show this information over email as I can't go to the shop.
Basically received a message saying I can't get a refund. That's rubbish ...

I ordered two computer monitors on Thursday 14/03/2024 for home delivery on Friday 15/03/2024 between 07:30 & 21:00. I would get an email/text when they were on their way.
No email, text or monitors by 18:00 so tried ARGOS chat. Told they were on their way. never received. Tried ARGOS chat next day & told they had not been shipped due to technical problem.
I would get a refund within 30 days! I was just about to order from another company 6 hours later when the monitors that had not been shipped arrived magically on my door step about 24 hours late & without any email or text.
Argos chat keeps asking the same questions over & over again.
If you try to speak to a real person, you get put on hold for 30 minutes & then get cut off.
Emails that I sent to customer relations got bounced back to me. A complete shambles.
